Wonder Woman

 As I mentioned below, I saw the sequel before I watched Wonder Woman. But Wonder Woman 1984 did get me just curious enough and in a movie watching mood, so I went home after the theater and watched this movie. I went into it with the opinion that this was a good movie, and it is, but when I hear people saying things like "oh Wonder Woman was actually so good" and having also been told the sequel was bad, I expected something more I guess. The only reasons I like this one more than the sequel is we get a better look into the lore of Wonder Woman - the main thing that makes superhero movies interesting to me, as without it they are all pretty standard. We also got some funny dialogue and scenes with Diana not understanding how things work in the real world, but nothing that is super fresh. (01/01/21)
