Warm Bodies

If I had to use one word to describe Warm Bodies it would be "troll" - this movie is weird but funny; clearly bad but enjoyable; and heart-warming but scary enough. Without spoiling too much, this movie is about a zombie boy who falls in love with a human girl, despite society telling him it's impossible for them to work out. The premise is troll enough, and the multitude of cliché scenes like a makeup montage or lovers dancing to a vinyl only add to the troll-ness. As romantic tension builds between the two main characters, you can't help but laugh at the ridiculousness. All in all this movie is a fun rom com with a zombie twist, and the weirdness throughout the film makes it even better. (12/18/20)
