Dumpling Soup
I've been meaning to put this one on here for a while. The end product was a delicious soup with dumplings, tofu, mushrooms, and other veggies. But first we had to make the dumplings! This was pretty simple in process but definitely time consuming. Auva and I minced cabbage, carrots, and onions, mixed it well with impossible meat, seasoned it, and then rolled it up in dumpling wrappers. We made a bunch of these and then added them along with the tofu and veggies to a broth made of vegetable bouillon and miso, let it boil for a while, and boom! it was ready. The inside of the dumplings was so moist and tasty I couldn't believe it. We had made dumplings before but fried them, and they ended up too oily - these were great because they just soaked up the broth instead of the oil. Yum!
